Everything starts with a free consultation with Andy Cameron or another Built on Bravery team member. This can be in person at the Built on Bravery facility in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, or it can be done virtually via Skype, Facetime or another video conferencing platform. All the programs offered through Built on Bravery are professional, scientifically-based fitness plans which offer realistic expectations and goals for each individual.

Personal connection and individualized training is a big part of what Built on Bravery is all about. Before you sign up for any of our programs, we want to spend some time getting to know you better. The better we understand your goals and your challenges, the more effective we will be in recommending the right training for you. If for some reason, we think that Built on Bravery is not your best option, we won’t hesitate to say so. We don’t have a quota to meet. We are here to help athletes and, specifically, the special-needs populations, to develop a lifestyle of wellness and top athletic performance. We will work with you to select the programs which will best help you become a better you.
One on One Session
For the maximum benefit, nothing beats one-on-one training with an experienced, certified personal trainer. Instead of addressing fitness needs and goals in a general way that can apply to “most” people, a personal trainer works on your specific strengths and weaknesses. At Built on Bravery, we understand that encouragement and motivation play key roles in reaching your goals. As a Special Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and experienced Special Olympics coach, Andy’s greatest asset is his ability to relate to his athletes as both a mentor and a friend.

Group Session
Sometimes working together with others in a small group can build confidence and be more comfortable and beneficial for individuals in special-needs fitness programs. At Built on Bravery, come in with your friend, family member, or unified partner and engage in some challenging but fun athletic training programs. Working on nutrition for weight loss or weight gain is often done with a group. Even when you’re in a group, your fitness training plan will always be custom designed to fit your needs.
There are many areas of our Lifestyle Wellness Program that are ideal for groups of two or more.
